MP3 player

Recently, whether going 4 check-ups, or waiting for my kids while they r having tuition, there will be an hour or so kind of WAIT... I'll like to listen to songs. We've only 1 MP3 and everyday, Johnson will bring it along to work. So, when I needed it, I'll drive to his work place and take from him. I didn't verbally ask our Father above for 1 but in my heart, I juz think how nice if I have 1.

Praise the Lord! Although no words utter, God knows our heart. He knows wat we r thinking, wat is our desire, wat we long for. He lives in our heart. Thank God we have such privilege. Juz now, my dear came back wif 1 MP3 player. It's given to him FREE. We are so...... Bless!!! Amen!

Total Recall...

While sitting dwn...doing nothing except enjoying my ice kacang...WOW! It's been 20 "nong" years...Counting backwards, I met my "ang" during my Poly years (Back in 1986). At dat time both still schooling lah, only started "park tor" in 1990, got married in Oct 1993. For 13yrs living under one roof...sometimes I wonder how he can 'tahan' my mood swing.

Back in my school days, I'm well-known for my loud laughter, cheerful, sometimes abit "xiao" and occasionally very quiet and emotional. He is different. To me, he is cool, calm, very rational and a very true person. I admired him during my Polys days alot + a handful of other sisters(at dat time he not aware) He is always so positive in words n thoughts.

Thinking abt all dis, I'm thankful to God for bringing him 2 my life. To care for me, provide for our family and 4ever so patient 2wards all of US. Thank You Dear Jesus and thank u dear!

The TableCloth!!!
Got this story via email from my sister Cindy.

It's So touching.... God does work in mysterious ways....Hope it blesses U!

The brand new pastor and his wife, newly assigned to their first ministry, to reopen a church in suburban Brooklyn, arrived in early October excited about their opportunities. When they saw their church, itwas... very run down and needed much work. They set a goal to have everythingdone in time to have their first service on Christmas Eve. They worked hard, repairing pews, plastering walls, painting, etc.,and on December 18 were ahead of schedule and just about finished.

OnDecember 19, a terrible tempest - a driving rainstorm hit the area and lasted for two days. On the 21st, the pastor went over to the church. His heart sank when he saw that the roof had leaked, causing a large area of plaster about 20feet by 8feet to fall off the front wall of the sanctuary just behind the pulpit, beginning about head high. The pastor cleaned up the mess on thefloor, and not knowing what else to do but postpone the Christmas Eve service, headed home.

On the way he noticed that a local business was having a flea market type sale for charity so he stopped in. One of the items was a beautiful, handmade, ivory colored, crocheted tablecloth with exquisite work, fine colors and a Cross embroidered right in the center. Itwas just the right size to cover up the hole in the front wall. He bought it and headed back to the church. By this time it had started to snow. An older woman running from the opposite direction was trying to catch the bus.. She missed it. The pastor invited her to wait in the warm church for the next bus 45 minutes later. She sat in a pew and paid no attention to the pastor while he got a ladder, hangers, etc..., to put up the tablecloth as a wall tapestry. The pastor could hardly believe how beautiful it looked and it covered up the entire problem area. Then he noticed the woman walking down the center aisle. Her face was like a sheet... "Pastor," she asked, "where did you get that tablecloth?" The pastor explained. The woman asked him to check the lower right corner to see if the initials, EBG were crocheted into it there. They were. These were the initials of the woman, and she had made this tablecloth 35 years before, in Austria. The woman could hardly believe it as the pastor told how he had just gotten the Tablecloth.

The woman explained that before the war she and her husband were well-to-do people in Austria. When the Nazis came, she was forced to leave. Her husband was going to follow her the next week. He was captured, sent to prison and never saw her husband or her home again. The pastor wanted to give her the tablecloth; but she made the pastor keep it for the church. The pastor insisted on driving her home, that was the least he could do... She lived on the other side of Staten Island and was only in Brooklyn for the day for a housecleaning job.

What a wonderful service they had on Christmas Eve. The church was almost full. The music and the spirit were great. At the end of the service, the pastor and his wife greeted everyone at the door and many said that they would return. One older man, whom the pastor recognized from the neighborhood continued to sit in one of the pews and stare, and the pastor wondered why he wasn't leaving. The man asked him where he got the tablecloth on the frontwall because it was identical to one that his wife had made years ago when they lived in Austria before the war and how could there be two tablecloths so much alike. He told the pastor how the Nazis came, how he forced his wife to flee for her safety and he was supposed to follow her, but he was arrested and in a prison... He never saw his wife or his home again all the 35 years in between. The pastor asked him if he would allow him to take him for a little ride. They drove to Staten Island and to the same house where the pastor had taken the woman three days earlier. He helped the man climb the three flights of stairs to the woman's apartment, knocked on the door and he saw the greatest Christmas reunion he could ever imagine. True Story - submitted by Pastor Rob Reid.

SuRprIsE! SurPriSe!

SuRprIsE! SurPriSe! Happy Birthday !!!

Y'day, my sis & dad brought all my kids to d ZOO. I went shopping in d morning followed by my CGH appt in d afternoon. Usually on my b'day, I'll pamper myself and buy things that I need. Friends will usually ask me "Wat did ur hubby give U" "Where he bring U for a sumptous meal?". Well, for me, I like to buy my own present [he pays for it], no special meals.

Y'day nite, my youngest son have constipation, so... I was in d toilet wif him trying my best as a mother to HELP him....then....the GHEs appears outside the toilet, "啊你们来huh" (I was not surprise as we always have meetings, also I was bz wif matt). Then, Ignitius appeared... "Eh, how come u r here" ...and Zachary appears... I was shocked. [Johnson: "It's a suprise"]

Indeed, I was very surprise... never ever expected that. I was speechless and very touch. Really never expect my hubby to do that {becuz he is not a romantic guy, not 口花花 type}. A few days ago (b4 my b'day), he suggest that I buy something that I like, bring home and he will wrap it up and then give it to me. I laugh at such crazy ideas. That's him, so funny...

I want to thank all of you, your well wishes, your gifts, and most important, your presence. First time in my life to experience such happenings... so sweet.. touching... A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO ALL and THANK GOD for HIS LOVE bestow upon me.

Check-Ups
Y'day, I went Changi Hospital 2 check my wounds. My appt time was 11.10am. I reached d hopital at abt 10.30am. The clinic was so crowded dat even d registration takes half hr. I got a Q nos. 1110, by then it's abt 10.55am and on d screen U could see d attending nos. 1020, 1022, 1016, 1005. Looking at it, I was telling myself "Oh my goodness, it'll be a long wait". At last, I managed 2 find a seat. I sms Johnson and was kind of flustrated, wondering how long do I've 2 wait. I ask him 2 pray wif me dat God will shorten my waiting time.

It was really very slow, d minimum time each patient spent wif d doc was abt 15mins. I started 2 get abit impatient and God reminded me dat He is able 2 work d Impossible. It's almost 12pm dat my nos. was called. There were many who came earlier than me and their eyes were on me when I stood up. The attending nos. on d screen was 1040, 1042, 1038, 1110. I thank God and at the same time pity those who r still waiting. I hope my nxt appt on d 8 Jun will not be so crowded, juz hv 2 believe once more dat God will shorten d waiting time to d minimum. Amen!
