"Gor-Gor-Pi-Yer" ???

All mothers have experience what I've experience now. Yes, trying to figure out what ur child is trying 2 tell U. And worse of all, their pronounciation is not "there yet", Not perfect yet. So.... here's what happened 2day.
Matt was trying 2 tell me "Gor-Gor-Pi-yer".
I ask him : "Gor-Gor-Pi-yer"??? R u saying "gor gor go Wee Wee???"
Matt : No, "Gor-Gor-Pi-yer".
I ask him : "Go, Go Play ya" ???
Matt : No, "Gor-Gor-Pi-yer".
At this point of time, a little frustrated ... I ask him 2 SHOW me. (I was at his kindergarten school waiting 2 pick my friend's daughter who went 4 excursion).
He bring me 2 his classroom, pointed 2 a picture .... and I Burst out laughing .....
Can U guess what Matt is trying 2 say ????
It is "Caterpillar". Hahaha! All my frustration GONE! Ended up in a laughing mode. Of course I corrected his pronounciation, n dis time, he got it a little rite "Cater-pi-yer, he said".

The "Parrot"
My little darling Matt, is behaving like a "parrot". Why? Becos he is trying 2 imitates what is spoken of another person. My 2 older children were soooo frustrated wif him. He will even follow their actions, n what they say.

Looking at him doing all these makes me laugh. He likes 2 watch advertisement n do the same thing "parroting"... His favourite song in d advertisement is "Ah ......Gatsby... Gatsby..." Hahaha....

Pasport On Line is unavailable, so cannot submit Matthias's photo online to update.


Last Sat, I bought Matth down to update his passport's photo. No car, we took bus and then changed to MRT. He was excited man!


Reach there, first thing was to Q to take photo, then got to Q to take Q number. Q ordy go counter and wait for your Q nos to be call. After submitted, got to wait to collect the passport. That day got lots of ppl, like us lor, last mins want to update photo and ready for the 1 week hoilday.


i thot i was exhasted after the whole thing... but it was Matthias that fell asleep on the way back .

Hahaha...Lalala...

"hahaha...... No weapon form against me shall prosper....". Yes, dat's exactly wat d Lord has promise us in His Word. Matt has his chicken pox outbreak on Monday & d last traces of outbreak is on Wednesday. By Thursday, I did not see any other new "pox" coming out. PTL! So, instead of waiting till 29/1 (Mon) for his review, I can bring him 4 his review on 25/1 (Thurs). Dat means we can go BS on Fri nite & Sun svc. All Glory 2 Jesus 4 He makes it possible. Amen!

Matt down wif pox...

Matt is down wif chicken pox. It all started on Monday morning 15/1/2007. I was still in bed when he crept up quietly into my bed. I was still very sleepy & I saw 1 small dot near his ear & I accidently burst it.... Oh no, it looks like it, so, immediately I check his body & confirm it.


So, for dis 2 weeks, he will be resting at home (that includes me as I need 2 take care of him). I thank God that so far, he dun fuse or seems lethargic. I remember about 4 to 5 yrs ago where I had chicken pox, it feels horrible, dis unbearable itch. Thank God 4 His Hands upon Matt.

I pray 4 speedy recovery. Amen!

The Active Toddler


Today, I got a complain from Matt form teacher Mrs Lai. He push his classmates, beat his classmate & also trying to poke 1 of his classmate eye. He snatch their toys during play time & refuse to share. Sigh ...



Ok, ok ... dis is temporal. He will be a good & obedient boy in Jesus Name! Lord I submit dis adorable, intelligent boy into ur Hands. Amen!

Matt adjustment


PTL! Matt has been adjusting very well 2 his new school. This 2 days, he walks into d school by himself w/o clinging 2 me. Hallelujah! Never expect it 2 be soooo fast. I'm really very happey & glad dat God answers my prayer so fast.

As I hv a cousin who works in dat school, I get updates from her as per how Matt behaves in class. He is very attentive & a great observer too. For me, I like to play "speech" wif him. Each time I say a word or sentence, he is always so keen 2 repeat what I hv said. Tho not clear, I'm glad he is trying. Juz yesterday, he surprise me by saying "I am a boy".

He is starting 2 pick up sentences dat I've taught him b4. I believe in no time, he will be babbling away wif sentences. I'm so glad wif his progress (alto he started slow in speech, unlike his brother & sister who starts earlier). Well, I always remind myself dat each child is unique & the time will come when he is ready to speak, so I've never push him 2 speak.

I'm glad dat d toilet training thing is improving. PTL! All Glory to Jesus!

Matt goes 2 school

3rd January 2007, Matt 1st time attend school. (He is now 2 yrs 5 mths) It's a 3 hr school at Shalom Kindergarten. He's in Pre-Nursery. This is Matt in his school uniform. Well, his 1st & 2nd day .... cries ...
He clings 2 me like a "Koala" but I'm very persistance too. I juz let go & let him cry. And thank God, it's juz a moment kind of thing. So far, he's well-behave & participate in activities too. PTL! I believe that soon .... very soon ... he will juz walk in 2 his class by himself w/o crying ")
Now, my challenge wif him is ... toilet training. Got 2 start training him w/o pull-up pants. "God help Me..."

Dressing Up


This is Matthias, my youngest son. He is 2 yrs old. He loves 2 play dressing up. Actually, my husband n myself love 2 dress him up becos he enjoys it and after dat, all of us will juz laugh n laugh. Look at dis pic, isn't he "pretty". He is always so adorable and always never fails 2 make us laugh.

My mom n dad enjoys playing wif him too. They also cannot "tahan" his mischief. There is something about him dat after each mischief, we were like dun whether to "laugh" or to "cry". Hahaha... he never fails 2 humour us wif his actions. He likes 2 imitate us. I thank God for bringing him into our family lives becos he really spice us up. I thank God for all my 4 beloved that I can shower my love :)

Clearing Out

Yesterday, Johnson was clearing d toys, some of which is spoilt, in no good condition...etc. Wow! after clearing some of these toys....there are still alot left. Some of U may agree wif me, having only 1 child already alot of toys, not 2 talk about having 3.

Anyway, I thank God for HIS abundance showered upon US! Amen!

Little Boy wif big imagination

See dis yellow round thing. It's Matt toy golf set.

Juz now he was telling me ... "Ng Ng" "Ng Ng"

I still dun get it until he do this.... (see nxt pic)







He put his toy giraffe on his yellow toy and say "Ng Ng"

Hahaha....LOL.... I cannot tahan but juz laugh and laugh...

Isn't he so adorable?

BTW, he uses the kids toilet seat to do his "business"

Y'day, Matt brought 2 me a pkt of strawberry milk n ask me 2 open 4 him. I refuse n make formula milk 4 him instead. He make a lot of noise abt it, but I insisted. After d big "hu ha", he hv no choice cos mom says "no" n he put back d pkt of milk to d cabinet. It comforts me 2 see him so independent but there r times where dis "independent behavior" can drive me up d wall. Whatever it is, I'm juz gg 2 commit dis special child into d Lord's hand.

Time really flies. Matt is 23mths gg 24 mths in August. He is a smart boy. In terms of speech, he is slower. I know people are concern but I'm not at all worried. To me, he is showing some progress. I believe he is juz like his older brother and sister. They register words in their brain and then one fine day... sentences will juz shoot out from their mouth. As far as I'm concern, he can call us (PaPa, Me, Gong gong, ....). When he wants milk, he will say "nan nan", "我要", "Yes". Most impt is that he understands what we say. Above all, we trust God for his progress in all areas. "Let Go and Let God" --- It works always as God never fails us.
