Our Bangkok trip 26-29Nov06

We r BACK. Praise God for protection & fun time too.

Throughout dis trip, we WALK alot, EAT alot, & SHOP moderately .... hahaha... Overall, we spent more on EATING. The food was good, deliciious, & cheap!

On our 1st day, we reached Bangkok in d morning. Once check-in 2 d hotel @Samran Pl, we unload our luggage in headed our way 2 d famous Chatuchak. (For those who r gg Bangkok, 1 day at chatuchak is really not enough). We only conquer a small section of it. The nxt few days/nites, we go around MBK, Siam Ctr, Pratunam "Pasar Malam", chinatown. On d last day, we found 1 map that shows d exact location of all d "Pasar Malam". It's a bit too late to find the map but nevermind, our nxt trip will be well prepared & ready to GO-GO-GO.

Juz for info, the hotel we stay is a small hotel. They dun hv room service but hack care, as long as it's clean & neat. They tidy d room everyday of our stay & change d towel everyday too. It's only S$39/nite with breakfast which I find it's value for $$. It's near to Asia Hotel & took us abt 5-10mins walk to d skytrain. Walking to MBK area took us abt 15-20mins.

Best Progress award
It was quite thrill to see Ah boy ( aloysius ) rec'v his 'best progress' award
this year.

He never smell the top 3 position and we won't pressure him to achive it either, but from the last 10 to the top ten is really something and amazing by the grace of God. PTL.

We are proud of you, Aloysius!

Father's Love
This is a touching story about a father and his son. Twenty years ago Rick Hoyt ran a 5k while pushing his disabled son in a wheelchair. After the race his son told him that while racing he did not feel disabled. They have since competed in over a hundred triathlons and marathons together.

Undisturb sleep

It's been a long long time since we have this undisturb sleep...reason being our 3 kids were all at my brother hs =) It was somehow unplan.
Saturday morning, our family went swimming (as the kids hv their swim lesson), then we went for lunch wif Wong family. Afterwhich, we send my 2 older kids 2 my brother hs as they r gg 2 d science centre. Matt was supposed 2 be wif us but he was crying.... really very loudly & it did looks pitiful that my sis-in-law can't bear & decided 2 bring him along.
They were suppose 2 come hm at nite but also last minute have a 1 nite stay there. So..... thank U Father for dis undisturb sleep. I'm not complaining, to me a bonus 1 nite power sleep is refreshing & recharging =)

Children
Having children is such a blessing – most of the day. But honestly…. It’s not always a bed of roses.

But when those little ones sleep ( Matthias is creative, mischievous and independent ) or Aloysius or Carlin say something sweet - ah … all that craziness and insanity and gray hairs they gave you that day seem to disappear! Nows-a-day, Matth still cries when you go out of the house but he seldom follow you around the house already. LOL.

Ah hian can imagine the BIG mass and joy you’d have with twins or worst- triplet. ( Buy two get one free….siong! )
